New international Authorized Milling Partner of Ivoclar Vivadent

Schaan, Liechtenstein – 29 April 2013

Ivoclar Vivadent has again expanded the partnership program with milling centres for digital dental applications. The latest member to the Authorized Milling Partner program is Zimmer/Zfx, an international supplier of CAD/CAM solutions.

The new collaboration allows Zimmer/Zfx to optimally integrate the all-ceramic materials of Ivoclar Vivadent, such as the patented lithium disilicate glass-ceramic IPS e.max CAD and IPS Empress CAD as well as Telio CAD for long-term temporization, into its range of services. Furthermore, this collaboration will bring several advantages to customers. For instance, they can obtain high-quality Ivoclar Vivadent materials through Zimmer/Zfx. These materials allow the fabrication of high-precision restorations with excellent surface characteristics. Coordinated product systems are available to complete the restorations.

About Zimmer/Zfx
All Zimmer/Zfx milling centres provide a fully optimized process chain which is customized down to the last detail for the manufacturing of high-quality dental prostheses – from the scanning technology and software systems to the milling machine. An equally high quality of restorations is ensured everywhere due to a common technology standard at all locations. All digital process steps, from the scanning of a model to the design and manufacture, are carried out in the milling centres if requested. All available materials can be machined and numerous indications can be treated, including tooth and implant-supported crowns, bridges, inlays, onlays veneers, implant abutments, bars and attachments.

About the Authorized Milling Partner program
The Authorized Milling Partner program has been growing successfully since its launch in March 2011. National and international milling centres have joined the collaboration in the meantime. Ivoclar Vivadent supports the members of the partnership program with guidance on the successful use of its CAD/CAM materials.
