Investment Strengthens Headquarters in Schaan

Schaan, Liechtenstein – November 15, 2012

Ivoclar Vivadent AG has invested about 20 million Swiss Francs in its Headquarters in Schaan this year. The most recent project is the newly inaugurated building on the company premises, thus resolving the shortage of space.

The five-level building includes 1,350 square meters and consists of a storage room for ceramic powder, an analytical laboratory for quality control, offices for the Quality Management as well as a dental practice.

Dental practice for research purposes
The new dental practice with its 220 square meters represents the centrepiece of the building. It is affiliated to the Research and Development Department and greatly contributes to the product development. The dental practice ensures that the company’s products meet the high expectations of users and patients in regards to product functionality and safety. Therefore, long-term studies and case documentations are performed. The practice is not accessible to the public.

First class technology
Since digital dentistry represents one of the most important developments within the last few years, the dental practice is also equipped with modern CAD/CAM devices. These can be used to construct and fabricate single restorations as well as bridge frameworks and implant superstructures with the aid of the computer.
